All of my listings on the public MLS are under contract or have sold, which is great for my sellers but not so much for buyers. Inventory remains low and conditions remain competitive. It got me thinking: what percent of active inventory has currently sold, and how much is still available? Here’s what I found:
Burr Ridge: 50 homes for sale, 18 (36%) under contract
Downers Grove: 147 homes for sale, 71 (48%) under contract
Naperville: 283 homes for sale, 90 (31%) under contract
Some of those homes are new listings, many of which will go under contract by the end of the weekend. Downers Grove has 21 new listings (27.6% of all active inventory), Naperville has 31 (16%), and Burr Ridge only has 5 (15.6%).
The good news is I do have a few listings on the private listing network which are still available and looking for the perfect buyer:
